Is your organisation in need of funds for a Community project? The Foundation facilitates a wide range of grants for eligible charities and not-for-profit organisations in Australia.

The Foundation works closely with Community Bank and Corporate partners that choose to reinvest their profits back into their local communities via a structured charitable grant programs.

2022 Atherstone 'Local Green Champions' Community Grants Program VIC

Through a partnership between Lendlease and the Community Enterprise Foundation, the Atherstone ‘Local Green Champions’ Community Grants Program is an initiative that showcases our commitment to creating the best and most sustainable places for our residents.

Lendlease’s is committed to creating communities that are sustainable and resilient. 

 The Atherstone ‘Local Green Champions’ Community Grants Program is looking for community organisations and groups to design and deliver exciting, community-focused projects which promote environmental sustainability and help drive Lendlease’s Mission Zero commitments.

 We are looking for sustainability projects which work with local communities to focus on the following topics:  

  • Waste reduction and recycling
  • Growing and sharing food
  • Caring for Country and promoting healthy waterways
  • Protecting local biodiversity
  • Sustainable resource use
  • Promoting sustainable transport
  • Sustainability education initiatives

We are looking to fund programs, initiatives or events that benefit in particular the community of Atherstone (including the suburbs of Strathtulloh and Cobblebank), plus the broader community who live in the City of Melton, through improving (in particular) environmental outcomes, and which contribute to a positive social and economic impact.

Please include a high-level description of how you will communicate your project to external audiences and highlight opportunities for Lendlease’s corporate channels.

Grants of a maximum of $5,000 will be awarded from a total funding pool of $20,000

Applicants must complete their project within a year

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be a not-for-profit body with a current and valid ABN, such as an incorporated association, or be auspiced by one. For advice on possible organisations who could assist you with auspicing, please contact VicCommunities@lendlease.com
  • Applicants must be located within or offer a project within the City of Melton. Projects located within the suburbs of Strathtulloh and Cobblebank (or within the Atherstone Community) are strongly encouraged.
  • A single application will only be considered per grant round per organisation
  • Please address in your application any requirements around permitting and safety, including any current COVID-19 guidance.

What will not be funded:

  • Organisational core operating costs such as funding for permanent staff members, insurance and utilities.
  • Commercial activities and organisations.
  • Projects that duplicate existing services and programs.
  • Projects with a sole religious or political purpose.
  • The advancement of sport is not considered as charitable activity by the ATO. Therefore, applications from sporting organisations need to clearly demonstrate a benefit to the wider community. Examples of charitable projects often championed by sporting groups include building and maintaining multipurpose public facilities, all abilities programs, health promotion and leadership education.
  • Lendlease and the Community Enterprise Foundation will not consider projects that are vague, have insufficient value or that are of indeterminable value to the community.
  • Projects that have already been completed cannot receive retrospective funding under charitable law.

Criteria:

Grants will be awarded on the recommendation of the Atherstone Community Grants Program Advisory Board and will be assessed on how well project outcomes align with Lendlease’s social, economic and in particular, environmental priority areas. 

Applications that align with Lendlease core values and articulate the ways in which they can contribute to our Mission Zero aspirations will be highly regarded.

The Community Impact Program is guided by our commitment to investing in the growth of a resilient, sustainable and thriving Mansfield & District community. Nimble enough to meet the most pressing community needs in the short term, whilst addressing broader long-term community projects.

To be considered, each application must address at least one of the 5 key Impact Pillars, have attended our Information Evening on May 2nd and include the following supporting documentation:

  • If your organisation is not required to audit your financials, please provide a profit and loss statement as a minimum and a balance sheet if available or a current bank statement.

Details of Program

Through a partnership between Lendlease and the Community Enterprise FoundationTM, the Elliot Springs Community Grants Program is an initiative that showcases our commitment to creating the best places for our residents. Please click LINK  for more information.

We are looking to fund

Programs, initiatives or events that benefit the community of Elliot Springs through improving social, environmental and economic outcomes.

More specifically those which: 

  •       Educate / up-skill the community
  •       Connect and strengthen relationships within the community
  •       Assist the start-up of community groups, programs, social enterprise
  •       Celebrate the culture and history of the Elliot Springs area.
  •       Activate public space (specifically the Community Hub or Wadda Mooli Park)

Applications that support school holiday activation of the Community Hub or Wadda Mooli Park will be favourably considered by the advisory commitee. 

Grant Funding - Funding Pool $5,000 (Funding up to $2,500 per grant available)

Duration - Applicants must complete their project within a year. Project completion report due 60 days as of project end date.

  • Applicants must be a not-for-profit body with a current and valid ABN, such as an incorporated association, or be auspiced by one.

We are looking to fund programs, initiatives or events that benefit in particular the community of Harpley, as well as the broader community who live in Werribee and the City of Wyndham, through improving (in particular) environmental outcomes, and which contribute to a positive social and economic impact.

Please include a high-level description of how you will communicate your project to external audiences and highlight opportunities for Lendlease’s corporate channels.

Grants of a maximum of $5,000 will be awarded from a total funding pool of $20,000

Applicants must complete their project within a year

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be a not-for-profit body with a current and valid ABN, such as an incorporated association, or be auspiced by one. For advice on possible organisations who could assist you with auspicing, please contact VicCommunities@lendlease.com
  • Applicants must be located within or offer a project within the City of Wyndham. Projects located within the Harpley community and its surrounds are strongly encouraged.
  • A single application will only be considered per grant round per organsiation 
  • Please address in your application any requirements around permitting and safety, including any current COVID-19 guidance.

What will not be funded:

  • Organisational core operating costs such as funding for permanent staff members, insurance and utilities.
  • Commercial activities and organisations.
  • Projects that duplicate existing services and programs.
  • Projects with a sole religious or political purpose.
  • The advancement of sport is not considered as charitable activity by the ATO. Therefore, applications from sporting organisations need to clearly demonstrate a benefit to the wider community. Examples of charitable projects often championed by sporting groups include building and maintaining multipurpose public facilities, all abilities programs, health promotion and leadership education.
  • Lendlease and the Community Enterprise Foundation will not consider projects that are vague, have insufficient value or that are of indeterminable value to the community.
  • Projects that have already been completed cannot receive retrospective funding under charitable law.

Criteria:

Grants will be awarded on the recommendation of the Harpley Community Grants Program Advisory Board and will be assessed on how well project outcomes align with Lendlease’s social, economic and in particular, environmental priority areas. 

Applications that align with Lendlease core values and articulate the ways in which they can contribute to our Mission Zero aspirations will be highly regarded.

2022 Lendlease FutureSteps Community Grants Program (VIC & WA) Round 1

The FutureSteps Open Grant Program is administered by Community Enterprise Foundation™ and made possible by the generous support of Lendlease FutureSteps.

The Lendlease FutureSteps Community Grants Program is an initiative to aid not-for-profit community organisations to increase the supply of accommodation with support services that assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing stress

Charitable and not-for-profit organisations can apply for projects and activities that require a grant contribution that will be used to increase the supply of accommodation for individuals or families experiencing homelessness or housing stress, provide the opportunity for Lendlease staff to volunteer their skills and offer wrap around services that facilitate skilling, training and employment opportunities for the individuals housed.  

Lendlease FutureSteps will provide funding up to $200,000 which will be awarded in value between $20,000 - $100,000

The Community Grants Program is designed to: 

- Increase in availability of safe, appropriate housing in VIC & WA

- Increase in number of pathways to education & employment

- Increased participation in the community

- Growth in self-worth from housing recipients

Two grant rounds are available per year aimed towards funding programs, initiatives and events that contribute positively to Yarrabilba’s social, environmental and economic development.

We are looking to fund

Programs, initiatives or events that benefit the Yarrabilba community of through improving social, environmental and economic outcomes. More specifically those which: 

1. Support Yarrabilba’s COVID-19 recovery and promote future community resilience

2. Promote environmental sustainability and more efficient use of local resources (eg re-use/recycle/repurpose etc).

3. Activate public recreational space

* Special consideration will be given to groups and organisations who haven’t previously been funded

* Projects will need to comply with the Australian Government’s COVID-19 safety measures

Grant Funding -  A mix of project grants (up to $3,000) and 10th Anniversary Event Activation Grants (up to $1,000) are available (to support a Community Event being held on the 30th July). The total funding pool is $20,000
