Community Bank Pinewood Scholarship Program - Wheelers Hill Secondary College

The Education Award aims to encourage and assist with educational requirements of students attending Wheelers Hill Secondary College in 2024, in Year 11. 

The Scholarship program supports the following study related expenses: course costs, study-related materials/equipment, textbooks, tutoring and /or uniform costs.

Funds must be used for authorised school or personal development activities.

Qualification criteria:

• Textbooks
• Technology resources
• School camps / excursions
• School initiated activities
• Approved external personal development activities

Key General qualification criteria:

• You are an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Students must reside in or attend school at Wheelers Hill Secondary College
• You must be in year 11 in 2024. 
• You can demonstrate leadership both within, and outside, your school community.
• School initiated activities
• You are an academically motivated student; or
• You can demonstrate community involvement.
• The successful student must be able to use the Scholarship funds by the end of Term 1 in 2025

The scholarship award value $1,500.00 per year for 1 year each successful recipient, subject to the criteria set out above and satisfactory academic performance.

Applications can be completed by a parent or guardian in the name of the student.

Scholarships will be awarded on the recommendation of a selection committee and will be based on how an applicant addresses the qualification criteria.
