Is your organisation in need of funds for a Community project? The Foundation facilitates a wide range of grants for eligible charities and not-for-profit organisations in Australia.

The Foundation works closely with Community Bank and Corporate partners that choose to reinvest their profits back into their local communities via a structured charitable grant programs.

2022 Atherstone 'Local Green Champions' Community Grants Program VIC

Through a partnership between Lendlease and the Community Enterprise Foundation, the Atherstone ‘Local Green Champions’ Community Grants Program is an initiative that showcases our commitment to creating the best and most sustainable places for our residents.

Lendlease’s is committed to creating communities that are sustainable and resilient. 

 The Atherstone ‘Local Green Champions’ Community Grants Program is looking for community organisations and groups to design and deliver exciting, community-focused projects which promote environmental sustainability.

 We are looking for sustainability projects which work with local communities to focus on the following topics:  

  • Waste reduction and recycling
  • Growing and sharing food
  • Caring for Country and promoting healthy waterways
  • Protecting local biodiversity
  • Sustainable resource use
  • Promoting sustainable transport
  • Sustainability education initiatives

We are looking to fund programs, initiatives or events that benefit in particular the community of Atherstone (including the suburbs of Strathtulloh and Cobblebank), plus the broader community who live in the City of Melton, through improving (in particular) environmental outcomes, and which contribute to a positive social and economic impact.

Please include a high-level description of how you will communicate your project to external audiences and highlight opportunities for Lendlease’s corporate channels.

Grants of a maximum of $5,000 will be awarded from a total funding pool of $20,000

Applicants must complete their project within a year

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be a not-for-profit body with a current and valid ABN, such as an incorporated association, or be auspiced by one. For advice on possible organisations who could assist you with auspicing, please contact VicCommunities@lendlease.com
  • Applicants must be located within or offer a project within the City of Melton. Projects located within the suburbs of Strathtulloh and Cobblebank (or within the Atherstone Community) are strongly encouraged.
  • A single application will only be considered per grant round per organisation
  • Please address in your application any requirements around permitting and safety, including any current COVID-19 guidance.

What will not be funded:

  • Commercial activities and organisations.
  • Projects that duplicate existing services and programs.
  • Projects with a sole religious or political purpose.
  • The advancement of sport is not considered as charitable activity by the ATO. Therefore, applications from sporting organisations need to clearly demonstrate a benefit to the wider community. Examples of charitable projects often championed by sporting groups include building and maintaining multipurpose public facilities, all abilities programs, health promotion and leadership education.
  • Lendlease and the Community Enterprise Foundation will not consider projects that are vague, have insufficient value or that are of indeterminable value to the community.
  • Projects that have already been completed cannot receive retrospective funding under charitable law.

Criteria:

Grants will be awarded on the recommendation of the Atherstone Community Grants Program Advisory Board and will be assessed on how well project outcomes align with Lendlease’s social, economic and in particular, environmental priority areas. 

Applications that align with Lendlease core values and articulate the ways in which they can contribute to their sustainability goals will be highly regarded.

This Community Grants Program is administered by Community Enterprise Foundation™ and made possible by the generous support of the Avoca District Co-operative Limited who manage the Community Bank Avoca, Maryborough and St Arnaud.

Area: The 2022 Community Grant Program will support applicants from Avoca, Maryborough, St Arnaud and surrounding areas.

The Community Grant Program is designed to:

  • Make better, targeted use of funds that are responsive to community needs
  • Support projects that make a positive contribution to Avoca, Maryborough and St Arnaud.
  • Help build strong, connected and vibrant communities in Avoca, Maryborough and St Arnaud

The Co-operative has a strategic plan with the vision of helping to build strong, connected and vibrant communities in Avoca, Maryborough and St Arnaud. 

The 2022 Community Grant program will look favourably upon applicants that focus on the three key elements of our vision, so we encourage anyone looking to apply for a grant to clearly define how their project fits in with our vision of strong, connected and vibrant communities.

Area: Community Bank Caulfield Park Community Investment Program supports projects and programs in Caulfield and surrounding communities.   

Audience: Charitable and not-for-profit organisations can apply for funding of projects and programs that offer clear public benefit for the community, contributing to its development in building social capital, community welfare, environmental, health, education or cultural areas.

The Investment Program is designed to:

  • Make better, targeted use of funds that are responsive to community needs
  • Support projects and programs that make a positive contribution to local community needs in Caulfield and surrounding communities
  • Grow the Community Bank Caulfield Park Branch which will in turn maximise the funding available for investment in community organisations
  • Increase relationships with community organisations which advocate to strengthen the profile and customer base of Community Bank Caulfield Park

Evaluation criteria

  • Project or program services Caulfield and surrounding areas
  • A bank account to be held at the Community Bank Caulfield Park Branch to deposit the funds
  • Willingness to be a positive advocate to strengthen the profile and customer base of Community Bank Caulfield Park
  • Willingness to discuss community banking benefits of banking with Community Bank Caulfield Park

Details of Program

Through a partnership between Lendlease and the Community Enterprise FoundationTM, the Jordan Springs Community Grants Program is an initiative that showcases our commitment to creating the best places for our residents. 

We are looking to fund

Programs, initiatives or events that benefit the community of Jordan Springs and Jordon Springs East through improving social, environmental and economic outcomes. More specifically those which:    

  •  Assist the start-up of community groups, programs and initiatives
  • Connect and strengthen relationships within the community
  • Educate, upskill or inspire the community
  • Celebrate the culture and history of the local area
  • Activate public space (specifically within Jordan Springs East)

 

Grant Funding - Grants of up to $3,000 available

Duration - Applicants must complete their project within a year

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be a not-for-profit body with a current and valid ABN, such as an incorporated association, or be auspiced by one.
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate the project will benefit the community of Jordan Springs and / or the surrounding area.
  • A single application will only be considered per grant round

What will not be funded

  • Organisational core operating costs such as funding for permanent staff members, insurance and utilities
  • Commercial activities and organisations
  • Projects that duplicate existing services and programs
  • Projects with a sole religious or political purpose
  • The advancement of sport is not considered as charitable activity by the ATO. Therefore, applications from sporting organisations need to clearly demonstrate a benefit to the wider community. Examples of charitable projects often championed by sporting groups include building and maintaining multi-purpose public facilities, all abilities programs, health promotion and leadership education
  • The foundation will not consider projects that are vague, have insufficient value or that are of indeterminable value to the community.
  • Projects that have already been completed, cannot receive retrospective funding under Charitable Law. 

Criteria

Grants will be awarded on the recommendation of the Jordan Springs Community Grants Program Advisory Board and will be assessed on how well project outcomes align with Lendlease’s social, economic and environmental priority areas. Applications that align with Lendlease core values will be highly regarded.

Financials

  • Current Financial Statements for the Applicant organisation and Project Partner (where applicable).
  • If your organisation is not required to audit your financials please provide a profit and loss statement as a minimum and a balance sheet if available. Please also include a current bank statement.

Quotes

  • Quotes are required for all budget items
  • If you have conducted this project/program before copies of receipts / invoices that substantiate this request from previous expenditure may be acceptable together with a detailed budget

Please ensure that your budget and/or supporting documentation clearly shows how the funds requested will be spent

2022 Kinma Valley Community Grants Program QLD

Through a partnership between Lendlease and the Community Enterprise FoundationTM, the Kinma Valley Community Grants Program is an initiative that showcases our commitment to creating the best places for our residents. For more information - Kinma Valley

We are looking to fund

Programs, initiatives or events that benefit the community of Kinma Valley and surrounding areas through improving social, environmental and economic outcomes.

More specifically those which: 

  •       Educate / up-skill the community
  •       Connect and strengthen relationships within the community
  •       Assist the start-up of and ongoing support of the community groups, programs, social enterprise 
  •       Celebrate the culture and history of the Kinma Valley area.
  •       Activate public space 

Grant Funding - Total Funding Pool $5,000 (funding up to $2,500 per grant available)

Duration - Applicants must complete their project within a year. Project completion report due 60 days as of project end date.

Details of Program

This Community Grants Program is administered by Community Enterprise Foundation™ and made possible by the generous support of the Communitiy Bank San Remo District, Cowes, Grantville & District.

Area: San Remo District, Cowes, Grantville & District Community Grants program will support programs and projects in the area.

Audience: Charitable and Not-for-profit Organisations can apply for projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for the community, contributing to its development in building social capital, community welfare, environmental, health, education or cultural areas

The Community Grants Program is designed to:

  • Make better, targeted use of funds that are responsive to community needs
  • Support projects that make a positive contribution to San Remo District, Cowes or Grantville.

To be considered, each application must include the following supporting documentation:
